USA "TC" Tour Part 1

 

Seit Anfang September tourt Céline erfolgreich mit ihrer phänomenalen "Taking Chances" WorldTour durch die großen Metropolen Amerikas. Ob in Buffalo, Washington, New York, im Spielerparadies Atlantic City an der Ostküste oder in Detroit, Céline spielt stets und überall jede Nacht in komplett ausverkauften Arenen. Spotlights verdunkeln sich. Die Arena füllt sich mit Dunkelheit. Eine Mischung aus Gespannt-Sein und freudiger Erwartung macht sich breit. Es liegt ein knistern in der Luft. Wie aus dem Nichts erscheinen überdimensionale Videoleinwände. Zu den Intro-Klängen von "I Drove All Night" sieht man Céline glamourös und sexy ins Auto steigen, los fahren und alle Höhepunkte ihrer bisherigen "Taking Chances" WorldTour Revue passieren. Plötzlich steht Céline da in mitten der Arena, die erfolgreichste Sängerin aller Zeiten, in einem traumhaften Mini-Lavendelfarbenden-Kleid mit brillant-raffinierte Glitzerapplikationen und High Heels. Céline sieht darin einfach umwerfend aus. Nach der elektrisierenden und rockigen Eröffnungsnummer "I Drove All Night", stolziert Céline wie ein Top-Model geschmeidig, sinnlich und sexy über ihre Catwalk-Bühne und zieht alle in ihren zauberhaften Bann mit ihren wunderschönen und romantischen Hits wie "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" oder "To Love You More". Dann verschwindet Céline und ihre Tänzer unterhalten das Publikum mit heissen lateinamerikanischen Rhythmen. Überraschend taucht Céline wieder auf und begeistert mit verführerischen Posen mit einem ihrer Tänzer bei orientalisch angehauchten "Eyes On Me". Das legendäre "All By Myself" bekommt erst mit Céline's Fünf-Oktaven-Stimme Überzeugungskraft. Wenn Céline singt, die Faust zusammenballt, erwachen die ganz großen Gefühle. Keiner blieb unberührt von Céline's natürlich charmanten Wesen und ist hingerissen von dem Zauber ihrer Stimme. Neben ihren dynamischen und leidenschaftlichen neuen englischen Songs, präsentierte Céline auch ihren gefühlvollsten und erfolgreichsten französischsprachigen Superhit "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore". Die Fans waren absolut begeistert von den fantastischen Special-Effects wie den eingebauten Falltüren in der Bühne, gleitenden Laufbändern und den ultra hochauflösenden LCD Videoleinwänden. Langsam geht ein wunderschönes Märchen zu Ende und Céline erscheint bereits zur ersten Zugabe. In einem Gold- und Silber-Minikleid wirbelt sie zu den treibenden Klängen von "River Deep Mountain High" ihrem Mikrofonständer in der Luft und man wird an die guten alten Las Vegas Zeiten erinnert. Das abschließende Highlight ist das eindrucksvoll inszenierte Finale. Céline steht auf einem drehenden Granitsockel umgeben von schwebenden Kerzenständern ballte ihre Faust und moduliert ihre Stimme, bis sie auch der letzten Seele sirenenhell mit "My Heart Will Go On" neuen Lebensmut eingesungen hat. Since early September, Céline is touring successfully with her phenomenal "Taking Chances" World Tour throughout North America, stopping in every major city in the USA. Whether in Buffalo, Washington, New York, in the player's paradise, Atlantic City on the east coast or in Detroit, Céline plays always and everywhere every night in completely sold-out arenas. The arena fell dark, and video screens on the stage played Céline's "I Drove All Night". When the screens rose, there stood one of the most successful female artists of all time. After opening with "I Drove All Night" and "The Power of Love", Céline paused to address the crowd. She spoke about how this tour is more family-driven for her, with her 81-year-old mother and 7-year-old son traveling beside her. Céline pranced along a set of inclines and conveyer belts in a mid-thigh lavender dress and high heels, merengueing and cha-cha-ing as if the stage were a ballroom floor. She was lithe, energizing, sexy. She serenaded a violinist on "To Love You More" and shared a seductive pose with one of her dancers during "Eyes On Me." After the song, she fanned herself with her hand. Time to cool off. The legendary "All By Myself" finally gets conviction only with Céline's five-octave voice. When Céline is singing the very big emotions are awakening and none remained unaffected by Céline's naturally charming, and is dazzled by the magic of her voice. In addition to her dynamic and passionate new English songs, Céline also presented her most emotional and successful French-Superhit "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore". The fans were amazed on the special effects, as the trap doors built into the stage, moving walkways and the ultra high-resolution LCD video screens. Slowly a beautiful fairy tale ended and in the first encore "River Deep Mountain High," Céline twirled a microphone stand in a shimmering silver and gold dress and you reminiscent of the good old times of Las Vegas. The huge highlight is the impressively staged finale. Céline stays on a granite base surrounded by floating candlesticks. What a way to say goodbye with her most famous ballad of all "My Heart Will Go On".
