In den letzten Tagen ist die Berichterstattung der Céline SpeedPage leicht ins Stocken gekommen. Grund war natürlich Céline's exklusiver zweieinhalb wöchiger Deutschlandbesuch. Selbstverständlich möchten wir die letzten News nachreichen und beginnen mit dem Konzertbericht aus Helsinki. Darüber hinaus wurden alle technischen Störungen erfolgreich behoben und das UNITY FORUM funktioniert wieder einwandfrei.

Mit einem Blumenbombardement empfingen die Fans Céline, als sie knapp 50 Minuten zu spät ihr Konzert begann. Madame ist daran gewöhnt, als letzte zu kommen, schließlich ist sie die Jüngste von 14 Geschwistern. Doch dem Nesthäkchen mit der gewaltigen Stimme verzeiht man alles. Das Konzert fand auf der eigens für die "Taking Chances" WorldTour konstruierten und hochtechnisierten runden Bühne mit vielen fabelhaften Special-Effects statt und Céline präsentierte in einer 100 minütigen Show 22 Songs und fabelhafte Kostüme. Wer behauptet: "Weniger ist mehr" hat wohl nicht mit Céline gerechnet. Für sie ist mehr immer noch nicht genug. Davon konnten sich auch ihre Fans in Helsinki überzeugen. Die Show begann mit Musik-Videos, die auf großen LCD Bildschirm gezeigt wurden. Schließlich ist Céline spätestens seit ihrer Las Vegas Show "A New Day..." bekannt für aufwendige Bühnenbilder mit Special Effects. Erst jetzt kommen die Special-Effects der "Taking Chances" Bühne nach und nach brilliant zum Vorschein, wie die eingebauten Falltüren in der Bühne, gleitende Laufbänder und die ultra hochauflösenden LCD Videoleinwände. In der Verbindung mit den Special-Effects kommt auch die moderne Choreographie fabelhaft zur Geltung und animiert zum mittanzen und feiern. Auch in Helsinki spielten visuelle Effekte in Form von Video-Clips eine große Rolle. Dabei wurden Videos für jeden Teil der Show präsentiert und unterstützten visuell die Songs. Ein Jim Steinman Song wie "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" bekommt erst mit der Fünf-Oktaven-Stimme von Céline die richtige Überzeugungskraft und den Queen Song "The Show Must Go On" interpretiert Céline theatralischer als der legendäre Freddie Mercury. Es ist einfach zu kritisieren, sie sei zu kitschig oder einen Tick zu dramatisch. Aber es gibt viele Momente, in denen selbst die Skeptiker durch ihre außergewöhnliche Stimme verzaubert und sprachlos werden, schließlich ist Liebe kitschig und dramatisch. Natürlich gab es in Helsinki neben Céline's Klassikern auch neue Songs aus ihrem neuen Album "Taking Chances" so wie das orientalisch angehauchte "Eyes On Me" oder das popige "Shadow Of Love". Das abschließende Highlight war das eindrucksvoll inszenierte Finale. Céline stand auf einem drehenden Granitsockel umgeben von schwebenden Kerzenständern, ballte ihre Faust und moduliert ihre Stimme, bis sie auch der letzten Seele sirenenhell mit "My Heart Will Go On" neuen Lebensmut eingesungen hat. Natürlich haben wir viele fantastische Fotos und Videos für euch. Die "Taking Chances" Performance ist etwas ganz besonderes. Dabei handelt es sich nämlich um eine high quality TV Aufnahme. In the last few days the reporting from the Céline SpeedPage easily come to a halt. The reason was of course Céline's exclusive two and a half weeks visit in German. Of course we have the latest news again for you and we will begin with the concert report from Helsinki.

With a flower bombing Céline was welcomed by her fans, as she has began her concert almost 50 minutes later. It's familiar for Madame to come as the last one, finally, she is the youngest of 14 siblings. But the fans forgives everything her diva. The concert took place at the especially for the "Taking Chances" World Tour designed and high-round stage with many fabulous special effects, and Céline presented in a 100 minute show 22 songs and fabulous costumes. Who said: "Less is more" has probably not reckoned with Céline. For her, more is still not enough. This have also discovered her fans in Helsinki. The show has began with music videos on large LCD screens. Finally, Céline is known at least since her Las Vegas show "A New Day..." for elaborate stage pictures with special effects. Now, the brilliant special effects of the "Taking Chances" stage come to light as the trap doors built into the stage, moving walkways and the ultra high-resolution LCD video screens. It is easy to criticise, Céline is too kitschy or a bit too dramatic. But there are many moments in which even the skeptics were enchanted and speechless by her extraordinary voice, finally, love is kitschy and dramatically. Of course in Helsinki were next to Céline's classics also new songs from her new album "Taking Chances" as the oriental "Eyes On Me" or the pop song "Shadow Of Love". The huge highlight was the impressively staged finale. Céline stood on a granite base surrounded by floating candlesticks has modulated her voice to sing "My Heart Will Go On".
