Céline hat immer spektakuläre Shows präsentiert ...sie hat die Olympischen Spiele in Atlanta eröffnet, auf dem Dach der Radio City Music Hall gesungen ...beim Millennium-Konzert zusammen mit ihren Fans ins neue Jahrtausend gefeiert und ist im eigenen Kolosseum in Las Vegas aufgetreten. Doch das feierliche Konzert "Céline Sur Les Plaines" zu Ehren von Québecs 400. Geburtstag hat alles bis dahin dagewesene in den Schatten gestellt. 250.000 jubelnde Fans ...31(!) Songs ...alle Top-Stars aus Québec und allen voran natürlich Céline. Das war ein Abend voller Magie und Leidenschaft. Mit einer absolut fantastischen Lichtshow brachte Céline nicht nur den Sternenhimmel über den Plains of Abraham zum leuchten, sondern auch alle spannend auf sie gerichteten Augen. Damit auch wirklich jeder einen guten Blick auf Céline bekam, wurden sieben riesige LCD Leinwände rund um die Bühne aufstellt und weitere sechs in der Innenstadt von Quebec City. Céline hat insgesamt 31 Lieder präsentiert - alle in französischer Sprache - vom Soloauftritt bis hin zu Duetten und sogar Trios - mit ihren Gästen lieferte Céline eine spannende Show voller Unterhaltung aus Rock, Pop, Blues, fantastischen melodramatischen Liebesballaden und vielen traditionellen Liedern aus Québec. Highlight der Nacht war das elektrisierende Duett "Lady Marmalade" mit Nanette Workman sowie das Duett "Tout Près Du Bonheur" mit dem très, très, très sexy et charmant Monsieur Marc Dupré. Das Finale des Abends war ein grandioses Duett mit Quebecs geliebter Chansonlegende Ginette Reno. Es war das erste Mal, dass Céline und Ginette gemeinsam gesungen haben. Céline has always presented spectacular shows ...she has opened the Olympic Games in Atlanta  ...sung on the roof of the Radio City Music Hall ...celebrated at the New Year's Eve concert together with her fans the new millennium and has presented her show in her own Colosseum in Las Vegas. But the solemn concert "Céline Sur Les Plaines" in honor of Quebec's 400th. Birthday was far from in between. 250,000 cheering fans ...31(!) songs ...all top stars from Quebec and, above all, of course, Céline. It was an evening full of magic and passion. With an absolutely fantastic light show Céline brought not only the starry sky above the Plains of Abraham to shine, but also the exciting eyes of her fans. The crowd for the show was estimated at around 250,000 and nothing was left to chance for people to get a good look. Seven giant LCD screens were placed around the site and six others were erected on Quebec City. Céline has presented a total of 31 songs - all in French - from solo performances up to duets and even trios - with her guests Céline has presented an exciting show full of entertainment from rock, pop, blues, fantastic melodramatic love ballads and many traditional songs from Quebec. Highlights of the night was the electrifying duet "Lady Marmalade" with Nanette Workman and the duet "Tout Près Du Bonheur" with the très, très, très sexy and charming Monsieur Marc Dupré. The finale of the evening was a terrific duet with beloved Quebec chanson legend Ginette Reno. It was the first time that Céline and Ginette sang together.
