Brisbane-Konzert & "Today Show" Interview

 

Natürlich möchten wir auch die Berichterstattung der Céline SpeedPage über die vergangen Shows der "Taking Chances" WorldTour komplettieren. Beginnen wollen wir mit Céline's Premierenkonzert im australischen Brisbane. Nach einer zweiwöchigen, zum Teil krankheitsbedingten, Pause präsentierte Céline am 31. März 2008 in Brisbane ihr erstes Konzert in Australien seit über 10 Jahren. Céline ging es sichtlich fein, sie war in Topform, machte kleine Scherze und begeisterte mit perfekten stimmlichen Nuancen. Am tosenden Applaus und Mitsingen, wurde sehr schnell klar, dass die Australier Céline sehr vermißt haben und sich außerordentlich über ihren Besuch auf dem fünften Kontinent freuten. Nach den Begrüßungsopenern "I Drove All Night", "The Power of Love" und "Taking Chances" entschuldigte sich Céline für die Unannehmlichkeiten, verursacht durch ihren Virusinfekt und die damit verbundene Umorganisation der Konzerttermine. Die Fans nahmen es ihr aber keinesfalls übel. Statt dessen feierten sie ihre Diva und gratulierten nachträglich mit einem "Happy Birthday" zum runden Geburtstag. Als kleines Dankeschön bekam Brisbane auch ein einigartiges imposantes Konzerterlebnis geboten mit dem emotionalen "My Love" und dem Publikumsliebling "Can't Fight The Feelin'". Vor dem Konzert gewährte Céline der australischen "Today Show" ein exklusives Interview. Die Crew durfte Céline beim Soundcheck begleiten und andere interessante Details lüften. Of course, the Céline SpeedPage want also to complete the reporting about the past shows of the "Taking Chances" World Tour. Let's start with Céline's premiere concert at the Australian Brisbane. After a two weeks break, Céline has presented on March, 31th. 2008 in Brisbane her first concert in Australia for over 10 years. Céline was visibly fine, she was in top form, making little jokes and enthusiastic with perfect vocal nuances. On thundering applause and sing along, was very quickly clear that the Australians have missed Céline very much and that they are extraordinarily rejoiced about her visit to the fifth continent. After the show opener "I Drove All Night", "The Power of Love" and "Taking Chances" Céline has apologized for the inconvenience caused by her illness and the associated reorganization of the concert dates. The fans took it but no evil. Instead, they were celebrating their Diva and congratulated afterwards with a "Happy Birthday" to the round birthday. As a small "thank-you" Brisbane got an impressive concert experience offered with the emotional "My Love" and the audience favorite "Can not Fight The Feelin'". Before the concert Céline has granted to the Australian "Today Show" an exclusive interview. The crew was allowed to accompany Céline during the soundcheck and airing other interesting details.
